Singer Stacy Ferguson, was born on March 27, 1975 in Whittier, known as “Fergie,” joined the Black Eyed Peas in 2003 and helped them top the charts with “Hey Mama” and other hits. Ferguson grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and began performing professionally as a child. Stacy Ann Ferguson born to parents Terri and Pat Ferguson who were of Irish and Scottish descent. When she was a teenager her parents divorced, that was a big challenge for a girl that wanted to be a star.

She did voice work for The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, as well as commercials, prior to becoming a Kids Incorporated regular from 1984 through 1989.
