Hillary Clinton top strategist quits
Hillary Clinton chief campaign strategist, Mark Penn is giving up that post amid criticism of his public relations firm’s contacts with Colombian officials over a free-trade deal the Democratic presidential hopeful opposes. Campaign manager Maggie Williams announced the move citing “the events of the last few days.” Mark Penn and his political consulting firm will continue advise the New York senator’s Democratic presidential bid, but Penn will give up his job as chief strategist, campaign manager Maggie Williams said.
